wow! this is the best of all the LOTR "battle of evermore" compilations I have seen.The rapid flashes of scenes does a incredible job of capturing the emotion and power of the song as well as Tolkiens world.

And yet, Angel got away with the psychic rape of Buffy. She still has no idea that he had allowed the Powers to wipe away her memories without her consent. And many fans regard that as romantic. It's interesting that Buffy's attempt to rape Spike in "Gone" was treated as comedy relief. I found that even more disturbing.

i am gonna be honest...this scene made me watch the series. After watching some other spuffy videos. It was wrong what he almost did but tbh i think he was in much more pain than she was...not that that justifies it but still...she was a total bitch to him. Spike is the reason why i even watched the show...i kinda skipped seasons 2-4...only read the episode reviews.

Some of you people have some serious issues trying to justify this scene. Spike is just a soulless vampire with no real feelings for anyone. It's a straight up rape scene. He doesn't get a soul till later on.

if u want to get technical spike did attempt to rape Buffy. But technically if u are a real Buffy fan and really understand the complexity of Buffy's pain and you know the circumstances of the first time they had sex(which for those who don't know it started with a fight/battle and turned into intense/violent and eventually sex) this was there thing. i.e., she is a tortured soul who can never experience true love due to her "great power/responsibility but at the same time was a young women and yearned for what she could never really have. Plus spike, remember as a human he was a true romantic with serious mommy issues, turns into the exact opposite as a vampire and when meeting Buffy his real self started to manifest the "man" he always was, and in turn was inspired to rise above and become better(giving himself a soul); which for the record i consider a major character development. So based on the points i have made i can honestly say and support my theory that the scene in the bathroom was not an attempted rape, but Spike going along with the dynamic of their relationship. Buffy being point blank tired of all the bullshit she didn't want to participate, and when she finally pushed him off, he was horrified by what he understood, with what just happened, and stopped. If it was real rape he would have not cared and continued even after realizing where she was emotionally/mentally. I conclude my rant with even all of this being said, I do love watching the dynamic of Buffy and Angels relationship. I am a true romantic/analyst so I want to thank Joss Whedon, everyone else who contributed to its show, and its production. ;)

When I saw that scene in the episode, I went to the bathroom to think straight. I honestly never scene Spike go this far.

When he got a soul, she felt ashamed of how she had used him, but I do believe that when she told him she loved him in the last episode, she meant it, but she didn't have the heart to prove him wrong :(

I am beyond baffled by this...I'm big Zeppelin and Lord Rings fan. This isn't one of their most well known songs but for years whenever I sat back and listened to this track the first image that always came into my head was Lord of The Rings. The lyrics screamed chapters from the books or scenes from the movies. Out of curiosity I type in battle of evermore and lord of the rings....the end result - countless videos
